Ordering
Microorganisms listed in the Catalogue can be purchased by Research and Educational establishments. Cultures are dispatched on the understanding that they will not be used for commercial purposes. Culture delivery is carried out in response to written orders.
Species name and the number of the collection strain required should be requested in accordance with the IEGM Collection Catalogue of Strains.

Distribution of cultures is generally restricted to individuals who are trained in microbiology and have access to properly equipped laboratories. Lyophilised cultures are mailed immediately. Users receiving cultures from the IEGM Collection are responsible for their proper handling. The Collection is not liable for possible damages arising from shipment and handling of cultures. As a rule lyophilised cultures are distributed in ampules, while strains which cannot be lyophilised are delivered on agar media.
Cultures will not be dispatched until payment is received by the bankers as below.
Payment
Charges and fees for cultures and services are in US dollars. The
current cost is $60 US per culture.
Value added tax will be charged at the current rate (at present 20%).
